Palate: A traditional Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir with luscious flavors of dark cherry and tart cranberry, leading to a lingering finish characterized by notes of smoke and warm brown spice.

Food Pairing
Black truffle mushroom risotto accompanied by a side of sauteed spinach. Finish with a dark chocolate flourless cake.

Tasting Notes: The 2022 Pinot Noir Free Run is light-bodied and forward. Already clearly mature in its flavor profile, the 2022 is at peak. Dried red fruit, cedar, pipe tobacco and herbs linger softly.
