Producer Notes
From the Chianti Classico hills comes one of the most well-known wines in the world. Sangiovese grapes have thrived on these hills since Etruscan times due to clayey, calcareous soils and a favorable climate, which gave rise to the prestigious Chianti Classico wine. Its appellation and the hills and villages that define it were officially recognized in 1716 by Grand Duke Cosimo III of Tuscany. Campo Antico Chianti Classico arises from this very area. A wine that reflects the passion and know-how that have characterized our historic presence in this region.

Winemaking Notes
The bunches of Sangiovese and Cabernet are harvested by hand. As soon as the grapes reach the cellar, they undergo a careful vinification process at controlled temperatures. A long maceration in stainless-steel vats enhances the taste, resulting in a rich and enveloping Chianti Classico.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows off an intense ruby red color. This wine's vibrant bouquet reveals persistent fragrances of wild berries, wrapped in a delicate spicy texture. On the palate, it gives an experience of absolute elegance, in balance between the velvety tone of the tannins and the pleasant fruity notes.

Food Pairing: Due to its complex character, it pairs well with pork ribs, grilled meats, game, poultry, and stews. Its classic table companion is the Florentine steak.
