By aging this vintage in 100% used French oak, we allowed the land's specific character to remain the star, ensuring the structural thumbprint of the Howell Mountain soil is never overshadowed by excessive wood influence.

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes: A robust and powerful mountain Cabernet boasting baked cherry and boysenberry fruit notes, dusty minerals, and dried rose petals. Good mid palate fruit density supported by supple tannins, more approachable than the Reserve, and finishing with nice sweet spice and crushed cocoa nibs.
