Tasting Notes: A proprietary red blend aged for 13 months in 42% new French oak. This is a Bordeaux-style blend incorporating all five of the classic varieties. In 2024, it’s classically fashioned and styled, showing blackberry fruit, graphite, and regal sweet spice, framed by robust yet velvety tannins. Sagebrush and wild thyme characters - drawn from fruit sourced at Stagecoach - layer in beautifully, alongside powerful tannins and elegantly integrated cedarwood spice. Deeply extracted yet finely balanced, the wine delivers saturated black fruit with a rich, slightly rustic quality that lingers long on the finish. Just gorgeous. There's a freshness here that is off the charts. Taste it yourself to see.

Tasting Notes: A smooth, supple Bordeaux-style blend that starts with gorgeous, generous blackberry and dark chocolate aromas, then firms on the palate due to fine-grained tannins. It shows nice concentration, depth and detail stemming from the component parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and the three other red Bordeaux grapes. Drink now or hold.

The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from such well-regarded growers as the Taplins and Morisolis, as well as from Gallo's own Stagecoach Vineyard - also the source of the other varieties. It's a well-made Cabernet-based blend, with notes of black cherries and cassis, framed by oak-derived suggestions of pencil shavings. Full-bodied but supple, it's creamy-textured and easy to drink, with a long, mocha-stained finish.
